5 Steps To Launching An Online Quiz

November 23, 2015 / Business Resources / one comment

It’s no secret that online quiz’s are conversion machines.  Who doesn’t want to take a test to learn more about themselves? Buzzfeed figured this out years ago.   So when I first considered creating my Find Your Frequency quiz, I thought it would be a speedy, simple process.  Write some questions, get a plugin, and bam! Rolling in the opt-ins. This article is part 1 in a 2 part series, How To Launch A Profitable Online Quiz. (You can read part two here.) It turned out to be a much more complicated process, and now that I’m on the other side of it, I’m sharing the 5 steps it takes to successfully launch an online quiz. Begin with your end goal in mind This is paramount.  You need to know what the point of your quiz is.  What do you want … Continue reading

Magic Lessons A Podcast By Elizabeth Gilbert | Episode Guide

September 28, 2015 / Inner Game / no comments

I am in love with Elizabeth Gilberts podcast, Magic Lessons. It’s short, powerful, and a great example of how to draw in your everyday listeners AND your famous friends, while still being of mega service.  She’s a Wood Frequency, and you can really see here how she wants to help people move forward and achieve big things in the world.  (Not sure what that last sentence means? Hop on over here to get the scoop.) I’ve been talking about the episodes a LOT – and people have been asking me where to start, so I am downloading all in one place so you can pick and choose episodes that speak to exactly where you are in your creative business.  All episodes can be listened to here.  Honestly, start with Episode 12 – her interview with Brené Brown. If you for some … Continue reading

It’s Time To Annihilate Your Fear of Success

September 16, 2015 / Making Money / 2 comments

“I think you’re more afraid of success than failure.” This stunning statement was said to me years ago by one of my teachers, and it unlocked something in me. “Of course!” I answered.  “I know how to be broke.  I know how to just get by and stretch my dollars, every rich person I’ve ever known has had major problems!” And there it was.  My actual problem. I was afraid of affluence and I didn’t have any positive role models of financial success to show me any different.   Sound familiar? This video talks about why it’s so tricky to become successful, why we fear it, and what you can do to go ahead and succeed anyhow. Did you know that every frequency has a success role model highlighted in their free guide?  It’s true!   So if you’re wondering where … Continue reading

Identify The Problem You’re Solving

July 16, 2015 / Making Money / 2 comments

I recently had the pleasure of hearing Liz DiAlto (of the Wild Soul Movement) speak live at Off The Charts, a business conference for online entrepreneurs.   Her entire talk was incredibly powerful, but the one part that made me stop in my tracks was this truth nugget: “People don’t pay to get in to heaven, they pay to get out of hell.” Ah. So true. When I work with my clients, they often are looking to take people from  good to great. This can actually hinder their business growth. They want to help people reach their highest potential, whether that’s through web copy, energy work, nutrition or coaching. This phrase nails the problem with that. Business owners need to cut through the fat and get to the truth of what they’re doing by focusing on the problem they are solving. … Continue reading

Do What It Takes To Pay Your Bills

July 10, 2015 / Making Money / 7 comments

Something that I didn’t expect when I started my business was that my business has seasons. When I first started taking clients, I expected things to be linear.  I expected that I’d have 3 clients one month, then 5 the next, then 7 the following month.  It never occurred to me I could go from 3 clients to no clients.  What I also didn’t expect was I could go months with a fuller practice to months where my client flow dried to a trickle. Lately I’ve been hearing people talking about going back to work like they’re dying.  Like they are complete failures for considering a part time or full time job.  They are expressing feeling like they “aren’t good enough” to make their businesses work. Well, as you can imagine I have a few things to say about that.   … Continue reading

Summertime Business Snack Pack

June 17, 2015 / Business Resources / no comments

Summertime growing up meant my family would go camping around California.  Often involving a 4+ hour drive with three kids, my mom would mix up these incredible snack packs to keep us munching (and quiet) on the car ride.  They were always different, so they always had the element of surprise and something exciting happening. Right now I am deep in creation mode.  I’ve got a few super exciting things I’m working on that are not quite ready for you yet. I also have cool things to share!  Rockstar women putting together amazing ways to help you grow your business. Here is my summertime business snackpack for you.  A mixture of deep, entertaining, money making and wildly smart. Summertime business snack pack First in the mix is this mega powerful interview I did with my real-life amiga Elle Griffin. We’ve … Continue reading
